Ekaterina Lipikhina was born and lived most of the time in  Moscow, Russia. Graduated from the Public
School of Arts and then from Moscow Publishing University as a journalist. Many years worked as a literature editor. Since 2000 started to make the art dolls and became a permanent participant of dolls exhibitions in Russia end Europe. Her dolls are famous by the original authors detail - small houses as a part of composition.
Today the dolls of Ekaterina are in the collections in USA, Canada, Spain, UAE, Russia.
In 2014 she was invited to Portugal to participate as an art director in the European Council project, which involved unemployed women in creation of the collection of the dolls in the regional costumes of Mediterranean region. The collection was exposed in the representation office of the European Commission, Lisbon, Portugal, on «Milano Expo», Italy, in the European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium.  Ekaterina is the Member of the International Art Fund.
Since 2017 lives in Portugal.
